Breast Care Massage:
When breast care is included as part of massage therapy, it is approached with sensitivity, respect, and client comfort as the priority.
For Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs), the breast is considered a sensitive area under CMTO Standards of Practice. Assessment and/or treatment of the breast is only provided when requested by the client for a clinically indicated reason and requires written consent prior to each session.
This service is provided in accordance with CMTO Standards and Rules for Massage Therapy and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or address medical or mental health conditions.
